Various items are needed for traffic safety on construction sites and roadwork areas. All of these items need to be visible in some sense, and, as a result, traffic cones and safety vests are designed in high-visibility colors, like orange and lime green, and have reflective tape added. Others, such as orange or red safety flags, are simply designed with a bright color to catch the attention of motorists. In all cases, traffic safety equipment needs to be visible, particularly if it forms a barrier or is worn by a worker.

Traffic cones are a common piece of safety equipment in construction and roadwork. Cones can be set up as a barrier along a highway or street and even near a building. The traffic cones, no matter where placed, need to be visible enough and, as a result, our selection includes sizes ranging from 12 inches to 36 inches.

Workers, additionally, need to be visible when working outdoors. Even if someone is diverting traffic by a safety flag, he or she is still required to wear a safety vest to be visible, as well. Our selection includes several traffic safety vest styles for construction workers. Although these are non-ANSI vests, they’re colored in high-visibility shades, such as fluorescent orange and green.
