Silt & Safety Construction Fencing
|
Safety
fencing, be it an orange polyethylene fence or a black silt fence, is often
needed on construction sites, particularly when dirt and medium-sized particles
are involved. These fences can be set up around the edge of a site to keep dirt
and other particles inside. In the case of orange safety fencing, the
polyethylene mesh safety fence is designed to be flexible and UV resistant and,
when framing an area, keeps particles from reaching outside, which is
particularly important if pedestrians are nearby. Typical uses for this type of
construction fencing include traffic control, industrial demolition sites, road
work, and hazardous chemical areas.
Not
all construction fencing is colored high-visibility orange, however, and our
selection of safety debris fencing includes black silt fences. Set up with
stakes in the ground and often near a pile of dirt, a silt fence allows water
to pass through but keeps the silt or dirt contained. Such fences are often
seen near streams, lakes, and roadways to keep the area free from buildup and
mud.
