Hard Hats & winter liners

 

One basic piece of safety gear all industrial and construction workers need is a hard hat. Most hard hats are made from heavy-duty polyethylene and have some kind of suspension inside to keep the hat on the head. Additionally, most safety hard hats have additional properties, such as electric shock resistance and a design better for blocking certain blows to the head. Any workplace with the potential for flying debris warrants hard hats on all of its workers. This includes many construction occupations, as well as floor positions in various factories, mining, and logging.

 

Our selection of safety gear and products includes several standard safety hard hats by North. These are all heavy-duty polyethylene head protection that meet ANSI Z89.1-2003 specifications. All hats have a pin lock style with a ratchet, four or six-point suspension. This allows the hat to be adjusted to the size of your head. Additionally, other features for our North hard hats include rain troughs and liners, both of which are helpful for working outdoors in all types of weather. The latter product is made from flannel or quilted fleece and fits around the head before a hard hat is added.
